Freeway Garden Inspiration

In the beginning of April Darwin decided to plant his very own garden, right behind the shop! It was a spur of the moment idea to become more sustainable. With the many buckets of water we collect throughout the day Darwin thought, "how can we be more sustainable and not be as wasteful with the water"? A garden was the answer. A mix of zinnias, clematis, honeysuckle, cosmos, foxgloves, scabiosas, grasses, ninebark and akebia were the favorites picked for this season. Throughout the past few months we have been so inspired by each flower, grass and vine that blooms and grows. We look forward to next spring, planting more seeds and seeing them grow.
